Information for New Ordeal Candidates

Basic Information

The Ordeal is the induction process to become an official member of the Order of the Arrow. Madockawanda provides three opportunities each year for Ordeal candidates to join our lodge. Please read through the information below so you can be prepared for your Ordeal and get the best out of the induction experience.

Registration & Cost

Ordeal Candidates will receive a letter in the mail with the official Ordeal registration form. It’s the candidates responsibility to fill out and submit the form as soon as possible along with the $45 fee, copy of the candidates BSA medical forms (Part A&B).

Friday check in will begin at 6:30pm and last until 7:20pm (please make sure that you have had dinner before arriving). Sunday check out will begin approximately around 10am.

Please also bring a copy of your BSA medical forms (Part A & B) along with medications. Cell phones are allowed to be brought, however we ask that you don’t use or carry them around during the Ordeal process of the weekend.
