National Leadership Seminar

Whats NLS?

National Leadership Seminar (NLS) is a weekend long advance training course held at the regionNLS PATCH level, that helps enhance the leadership skills of the Order of the Arrow’s key youth and adult members as they seek to improve their service to the Boy Scouts of America. Through NLS you’ll learn many leadership concepts on delegating, organization, delivering, communication, making decisions, analyzing problems, setting the example, and directing. Near the end of the seminar, every participant will make a contract with three commitments that they must fulfill using all the knowledge and skills learned throughout their NLS experience.

 Who can attend?

NLS is designed for both youth and adult members of the Order of the Arrow regardless of honor level. The Northeast Region BSA, recommends that all youth participants be at least 15 years of age when taking the course. Madockawanda Lodge will provide transportation for all youth members who attend.

All interested adult and youth Arrowmen should contact the Lodge Chief Zach. B, or Lodge Adviser Bruce Rueger, rueger@roadrunner.com, for information on registration.
